Team Captain Eric is planning to step down from his role as MFC Captain due to his commitments to studies and career. His stepping down is a big blow to MFC, MFC is now without a leader and the best defender.
However, Eric will be back from time to time to play for MFC whenever time permits him to. On behalf of MFC, I would like to thank Eric for his leadership, patience and commitment to the team. Eric has always demonstrated a "lead by example" role and he has always been doing the job in defence for MFC. For all the times MFC players gave him trouble and headache, Eric never once did complain or lost his temper. His calm and unnerving leadership style was something which will always be an inspiration for MFCians to follow.
Thanks Eric for everything and we will always look forward to you joining us for sunday games.
