As you all know, Maestro FC will be making their debut in the X-Cup come this June. The draw have been made and the bees will be playing against ACE Galaxy. Basically, the X-Cup is a knockout format (similar to the FA cup). If the match will to end in a draw after 80mins, the winner will be decided via penalty shootout.
A little info about Ace Galaxy.
They are sitting in mid table(5th) in the Div 2 of the Sunday Premier League. One familiar face to look out for in their squad will be none other then their towering centre back Saifuddin. Some of you might have seen him before as he came for a one-match trial with the bees during a friendly match at Katong and almost signed for the bees. But sadly, he decided to join the bees due to some personal reasons. Ace Galaxy have ply their trade in the D2D and Espzen league before joining the xleague. Their top scorer (below) netted 11 goals for the team last season.
After a short telephone interview with Captain Guo Xian, he told this writer that he have something on his mind to prepare the boys for the X-Cup.
