X League Season 1 Close of Finances

Hi Maestro FC,

Thank you to all who have duly made payment for the recently concluded X League season. The X League season finances have been settled and here are the financial figures for your info.
  • Total additional funds collected from Maestro players (players who played more than $55 worth of games): $620.53
    • Do approach me directly if you need a breakdown of how much you paid per X League game
  • Total funds to refund Maestro players who did not use up their $55 worth of games: $226
    • Brian: $38.90
    • Firdaus: $55
    • Gifford: $20.70
    • Gary: $6.20
    • Hanrong: $14.60
    • Jeffrey: $18.50
    • Logen: $47.60
    • Nikesh: $13.30
    • Randahl: $11.20
  • Total balance (cash on hand, to be used as club funds): $394.53
We will be contacting the list of players above to return them their money. The balance funds of $394.53 will be kept as club funds, under the care of our Finance IC Augustine, to fund outings etc.

There is still an amount of $96.80 being owed by 2 players whom we will followup with. This would mean that our total club fund should be $491.33.

For the next X League season, we will revert to our previous method of collection ie. no upfront payment by players, only pay if you turn up for the game. Each game is $150 and it will be divided by the players who turn up. Although this would mean we do not get one free game of the 14 games we play, it would be administratively easier for the Capt, Vice and Finance to keep track of payments. It would also be easier for the players to understand the payment method and prevent misconception that they are paying too much.

A big thank you once again to all who have duly made payment throughout the season and to Augustine who facilitated the whole finance keeping.

A quick update on Alex's case, the police still has no updates for us despite repeated followups from me. I will continue to chase for an outcome to close the matter.

Thanks,
Vice Capt
