Final Scoreline: Maestro FC 2-2 ACCA FC

For the first 15 minutes of the game, MFCians did a lot of confident passing and we were in cruise control in terms of game play. However in the subsequent 30 minutes, MFC looked nervous and did a lot of rash passing which resulted in lesser ball possession. The team then tried to test the keeper through some long shots, but no one succeed in beating their keeper between his goal post. The closest MFC got to scoring was a knee shot from Zirong from close range, but he missed it wide.
On a side note, MFC's defence was pretty solid and Gary performed well to keep the scoreline 0:0 as the first half ended.

Before the second half started, Walter did some adjustments in each positions with the surprise of RongAn playing LeftBack, Lil Eric as LeftMid and a tag team strikeforce between Augustine and Chris Tan for the very first time. In the second half, Maestro launched a lot more balls via short-passes and took more direct shots. Chris and Augustine both missed great chances to change the scoreline but it’s understandable since it’s the first time they are playing together upfront.

However, it didn’t take too long for Chris to score take his goals tally to 3, courtesy of a great assist from RongAn. Chris took the ball down neatly from the air and whacked in a shot from close range. GOAL!!!
The opponent then attacked back and scored the equalizer through Ronaldo. The game intensity suddenly fired up as the scoreline turned 1:1.
MFC then took the lead yet again through a well laid off assist from Gerald to Alex. Alex pulled off a quick shot from distance that was well timed and it took a wicked deflection off their defender to make it 2:1 to MFC. Goal!!!
Just as MFC thought that the game was over after Alex’s goal, the equalizer came. ACCA’s direct freekick was mis-judged by Big Eric and was blasted in by Ronaldo from close range. The final result was 2:2. Should there be 5 more minutes of added time, I’m sure MFC will get the winning goal.

The 2 main take away for today’s match was the good game play and the good team bonding and communication we had at bubble tea. Let's win the next game and keep up with more good work.
