Message for MFC

Hi again to ALL Mfcians.

Before the match review against british exile by Chris is up, let me just say a few words here. For all of MFC players, take it as a debrief for today's match or take it as something else, whichever you guys deem fit.

First message is for those who played today. I think the most important thing is no one is injured, considering the state of the pitch. It was not too bad in the first half at least, but after that, the condition of the field makes playing difficult. As i recalled, i think their equaliser was just a whack out of nowhere. Unlucky for us.

To: (From defence to attack)

Gary: Actually from the way we played, you can have your cup noodles today. Not much to do today right? Always bring a calm influence between the sticks.

ZR: Though you are late la, but a few last minute sliding tackles today made up for it. Some were really impressive. The images still in my head. Haha.

WH: Though you need to go off, but at least you stayed till the end to help. Thanks!

Hakim: The free kick was abit lucky. But a goal is a goal right? Super adaptable at centre mid or left back. I still can remember that run in the 2nd half and still manage to take a shot. And that shot requires a save from the keeper! Super lungs.

Walter: This has to be one of the best matches you have played in for quite a while. All the last min sliding tackle to put pressure on the attackers. Esp that first half tackle. Impressive defender kind of last ditch save.

Chris Tan: Imagine Chris' height and the brits'. And yet you won almost all the headers, which is really the key for the poessession we have. Erm, what can i say? Probably almost indispensible to the team already.

Gerald: Probably the unsung hero of the team. Always see you everywhere, left right centre, in attacking and defending. The "engine" of the team.

August: Can see that your ankle still cant give you 100%. But at least you made the effort to come down :) Thanks. And rest well!

Jeff: Though you were kept quite quiet, don't think anyone can blame you for that. The instruction was to clear any balls from the defense. But, i think everyone, me included, saw a few good touches by you. There's this berbatov take down, if you can remember. And you already have positional sense. Just got to learn to be tougher and aggressive. Don't let people "eat" you because of your size.

And in the 2nd half......

Nicholas: Free transfer from the British. Bad transfer. Might as well not be there. Right walter?

Did anyone notice we played with 10 men?

Spare the guys who are carrying injuries (really serious ones like Abi and Calvin) and those who told me their reasons at the very first message of the week, and a few in the army, where are the rest of the players? Do you think by wednesday/thursday if i have only 10 players, i will still agree and proceed with the match? The match is confirmed because i have 14 players + me who said "yes" and for those who received my message, it means that you are in the weekend team list. So why do we end up with 10? Can anyone explain?

Regards,
GX
