Hi MFC,
As you will read on, below are some of the emails being exchanged between mfc and sunsports. This is just to update you guys about what has happened behind the scene, which is another load of nonsense from peter koh.
1. Incident vs. Lega Calcio (League Game)
MFC to Sunsports
Dear lifang,
We have sincerely and swiftly drafted a match incident report which occurred 2 hrs ago at bukit timah field.
Just to add on to what was discussed earlier, I do not understand why lega calcio players continue to question you when they admitted they are the ones who start the fight.
I do not have any preferences as to what decision you and Sunsports will make. But whatever decision you give, it has to protect the welfare of my players. I do not encourage u for us to play the remaining 10mins or even have a re match. Their minds are definitely not on playing football anymore.
As of following is maestro fc incident report, pls take a look. Thanks.
Match Incident Report
Date: 26 Sep 2010, 3-5pm
Venue: Bukit Timah Field
Match: Maestro FC Vs Lega Calcio
Summary: The match between Maestro FC and Lega Calcio erupted into a fight between the 2 teams after a Maestro player was fouled and hit on the back of the head by a Lega Calcio player after gaining ball
possesion.
Detailed Report: At the start of the second half, Lega Calcio players became obviously frustrated at the failure to score. This claim is supported with about 10 minutes left of gameplay, Lega Calcio players became verbally abusive to the referee for several offside calls. The referee took out his yellow card but hesitated to give the yellow card
for fear of further aggravating the situation. This preceeded the incident that led to the fight.
A tussle between a Lega Calcio striker and a Maestro defender led to the Lega Calcio player losing ball possesion. A Maestro FC midfielder then got ball possession and tried to clear the ball but the Lega calcio striker tried to get the ball back by kicking the player twice on the calf. The Maestro midfielder lost balance and fell and the
referee promptly blew for a foul against Lega Calcio. With the Maestro player still on the ground face down, he heard Lega Calcio players fiercely protesting against the referee before he felt a swift kick or a blow to the back of his head.
To protect their team mate from further attacks, the Maestro team and bench rushed to the aid of the player but the Lega Calcio players took it offensively and threatened violence against the Maestro players. Some Lega Calcio players tried to hold their players back but to no avail. The threats made by several Lega Calcio players included threatening violence both inside and outside of the Bukit Timah soccer field. The player who started the attack was instantly red-carded by the referee but he continued to verbally abuse the referee with vulgar gestures.
With threats of violence and unhappiness from Lega Calcio, the Maestro team felt unsafe to continue playing the remaining few minutes of the match. Even with the match called off, several Lega Calcio players
continued to threaten Maestro players by standing nearby in a large group while picking out several Maestro players to attack if any of the players tried to leave.
After 30 minutes, Maestro players had to leave together in a big group to ensure safety of all the players.

2. Incident vs Team Eighties (Friendly)
MFC to Sunsports
Dear lifang,
I'm writing to you on behalf on maestro fc. This is regarding the friendly match today at katong 2pm kick off.
First of all, this referee is the one who did our game against lega calcio which resulted in a fight. And today, he again has no control of the match and it almost become another fight again. Let me highlight a few points:
1) He show a red card to one of the players of team eighties, after which this player snatched his red card away and wave around the card. The match was restarted with team eighties playing with 11 men! And yet he didn't bother to tell the player to go off the field.
2) I don't want to pick on small incidents which I think the referee should have shown a yellow card. But there was one incident when after team eighties tackled my No.18, he stepped his boots onto my player's face, which the referee choose not to do anything again.
3) When he blew for full time, not only my team question whether he has really played the full 40+40 mins, even team eighties ask him to show them his watch. I do not want to question the referee's timing of the match, but if he wants to cut short the time of the match, then he should do it more smartly. Lifang, I'm a referee myself, so we know how much time he has played.
Lifang, today is just a friendly, so I don't want to say too much about what happened today, which was quite a joke. I mean we might as well not have the referee around, as he did not reinforced his decisions. Recently, as you may not know, maestro fc has lost the joy of playing football, with so many decisions going against us. We need a stronger referee, someone like laoli, to protect us from being bullied by these Malay and Indian teams.
I do not expect u to do anything, I am just writing to you to share with u how I and my team feel about the events happening over the past weeks.
For your reference pls. Would be glad if I would to receive a call from u.
Regards,
Guo Xian
Team captain of maestro fc.
Sunsports to MFC
GuoXian,
I am apologies for the Oppn that I arrange for you.
But I believe My Ref was try his best to do his job. I cant said his every decision was correct but overall, I always trust every Ref `s decision got his reasonable reason.
For the pint 2 that you highline, Ref noticed Team player of Eighties was doing legitimate tackle and Ref said he did not see step on ur player`s face maybe because his stading position.
I agree that he cant control the game due to languge barriers. But his ref skill is surely not bad. I am sorry, I did not realize Team eighties got this kind of trouble makers. It does not mean the Ref is allowed ur team to be bully by Malay or Indian..
Just check to the Ref, he said he exactly 40 mins each half, we did saw the timing, and Your game is on time kickoff, we have no reason to short of your game timing. Ur game was end at 3.35pm as ref watch showing.
For last match with Lega Calcio/Indian team, actually, the ref is doing his game, he did t make any wrong decision or any onesider, did he! The only starting point is substitution casue both teams were in bad mood and high temple....Most players of Lega Calcio are not bad also..
Meanwhile, GuoXian, Recently my regular ref always be oversea, I will appreciate if you got any good refs recommendation.
Thanks for your report and fee back.

MFC to Sunsports
Lifang,
Thanks for the fast response.
I appreciate your explanation. Luckily today is just a friendly, if not, i'm not sure how sunsports is going to deal with the player who was red carded and yet remain on the field.
As for point no 2, that was what my players told me. If the ref did not see it due to his standing position, i can't argue further. Thanks for explaining that to me.
I just feel that alot of fights happen between chinese teams and malay/indian team because alot of times it is okay for us to be kicked illegally and yet if we do the same thing, we probably will get beaten up. Today's ref only show team eighties player No.99 the yellow card when he purposely kick my player from behind. If we have done the same thing, we would have been beaten up. You know what i mean? The ref should have shown his authority by showing him the red card and tell him that he cant be kicking people from behind.
Thats just my sharing with you. Thanks for hearing.
Regards,
Guo Xian

Match Reports
1. REPORT FROM BRITISH EXILES 2
The match got underway at the scheduled time and started with good spirit from both teams. Both teams had large squads with Exiles having six substitutes and ISCOS having nine.
As the game progressed, many British Exiles players became frustrated when it became increasingly apparent that the referee was allowing physical challenges from ISCOS to go unnoticed. A number of Exiles players, including team captain Tom Westwood, made protests about decisions which were deemed unfair. Conversely, ISCOS were awarded free-kicks for minor incidents and awarded throws-in that should have been awarded to British Exiles. One member of the British Exiles team, Simon Thauvette, requested on 25 minutes to be substituted because he did not feel that the opponents ISCOS were playing in a fair and sporting spirit.
In the second half, a number of controversial decisions were made in favour of ISCOS and the frustration of many players grew. Ten minutes into the half, an ISCOS striker knocked the Exiles keeper Rob Jones to the ground whilst he had hold of the ball. When the keeper got to his feet, the ISCOS striker squared up to him and kicked him on the leg.
A group of players from both teams became involved in an altercation and the referee took control of the incident. The referee took the ISCOS striker to one side and spoke to him. He did not take any further action.
Fifteen minutes into the half, I went in to challenge for the ball near the touch-line where the ISCOS substitutes, coaches and spectators were situated and reached the ball before the ISCOS opponent arrived, kicking it out of play for a throw-in. The ISCOS player simulated and screamed as if contact had been made. I called him a cheat and he squared up to me and our foreheads clashed. He then wrestled me to the ground and I was kicked in the head and body by a number of ISCOS players and substitutes.
Other players from both teams became involved. Tom Westwood, Harry Westwood, Scott Stewart and Jake Wells tried to stop the ISCOS players kicking me further but were punched by ISCOS players and coaches. Harry Westwood, 16, was assaulted by several players at once and received bruising to the face and head. Tom Westwood was attacked and received bruising to the head and a gash on his back from being kicked. Jake Wells was attacked by five players at the same time. One of the ISCOS players spat at him and he was also threatened at the entrance gates after the match was over.
The referee abandoned the game.
I was taken to hospital and received treatment for wounds, including 7 stitches to gashes in the head caused by a kick by a player wearing football studs.
2. REPORT FROM ISCOS
First i would like to mention that there had been an incident during ISCOS FC first League game at Bukit Timah Field during the Second Half. As you all would know that ISCOS Representative Mr Elvis was present during the First Half of the game till Half Time. After he left the incident happened.
The game was going on well the Referee was the sole in charge of the game. No bad comments or anything on ISCOS FC's side to the Referee or the opponents we played like real sportsman. The game was tied at 0-0 till the game was abandoned by the Referee after the incident.
The report on the incident happened in this manner.
The ball was played towards our goal and a clearance was made from ISCOS to the opponents half and the opponent intentionally fouled a player of ours. The Referee blowed the whistle for a Free Kick while blowing the opponent Head Butted our Player while another Opponent Slided at our ISCOS FC player on purpose and the commotion started within the two sets of players. There was a lot of commotion and i cannot exactly say who were involved. And for ISCOS side some of us were pulling our own sets of players and the opponent’s players away as well.
And the opponents too had a hand in the punches and kicks that were thrown at both sets of players.
As i can clearly say that we listened to the organizers remarks that we should keep our cool against the Referees and Opponents we were having a game of our lives as we were constantly attacking and keeping clam to win our game. But the incident was provoked by the opponents and the whole commotion started has the Referee has also claimed that the opponents are the ones who created the whole commotion and they were yelling and also pranking the Referee with their comments and when he awarded a Free kick in favor of our Team i wish that some action should be taken.
And currently i am awaiting the Organizers feedback and decision.
3. REFEREE REPORT
First half, the game goes smoothly; there is not any friction between the two teams. Second half, about 15 minutes after the game start, a player wearing the white jersey kicked the ball out of bounds, and referee whistled, just then one player wearing red jersey got near and bumped against the ball.
The former player in white then began scolding, and the latter player in red got closer and with his head against the player in white, afterwards the former player in white began hammering, then the referee whistled tried to stop the fight.
At the same time, another player wearing red jersey quickly rushed to the vicinity of the two parties, then, there appears a whole chaotic situation, the referee whistled constantly trying to stop the fight. But when the whistles finally work, both sides have already got injured.
But because of the situation was too chaotic, and the brain of high tension in that situation, the referee did not remember clearly about the names and the jersey numbers of those who fight.
Verdict:
1. Letter from Executive Director of ISCOS
To: The Management
SunSports Asia
On behalf of ISCOS Management, I would firstly like to apologies for the conduct and behavior of the players from the ISCOS Football Club who are currently participating in the
SunSports League.
I accept that the behavior of the players during their match with British Exiles 2nd Team on Sunday, 5 September 2010 was unacceptable. Based on the explanation given by the referee of the match, the reports from both my team manager/player Satish and from British Exiles, it shows that both teams had contributed to the incident that took place during the match.
I shall await for British Exiles Team to identify the players who were aggressive and were involved in off the ball incident and accept the decision by the Management of SunSports on the action to be taken against the players.
Mr Peter Koh, I understand that you had to referee the last game that ISCOS played with Aston Villa on 2 October 2010
.
After that match, I understand that the coach of the ISCOS Football Club, Mr Fajry and some other players were aggressive and behaved very rudely to you.
A non-player (supporter) from ISCOS Team (Mohammad Hedir) was also involved in the incident. Please note that he would not be involved in any of ISCOS games as a player or supporter.
In view of that incident, I have met up with my coach and reprimanded him for his unacceptable behavior.
I have also taken action to suspend the Coach for 3 league matches consecutively.
Moving Forward, I have informed the Coach, Manager and the players that if their behavior before, during and after the games fails to improve, I will withdraw the ISCOS Team from further participation from the league. The Team will also be disbanded.
Many of the players look forward to their continued participation and am confident that they will heed the advice given to them seriously.
Further, my Manager Mr Elvis Overee and myself will take turns to make our presence felt for the matches to ensure that the players are well behaved.
From now onwards, every match that ISCOS FC plays will be monitored to ensure that their conduct and behavior improves. This is my assurance to SunSports as well as to the Management of all other participating Teams.
I will also accept any other action that SunSports Management takes in view of the above incidents.
Yours faithfully,
ABDUL KARIM
Executive Director (Development)
2. Letter from SunSports Manager
Dear Mr. Karim,
As SunSports EPL League Chairman & on behalf of the League Committee Members, we thank you for your attention & action on this matter.
We are assured that with your committed action your team: Birmingham ISCO will go a long way in our league.
However, as Chairman of the League I would appeal to you to enforce it for every league game as any of such incident again that would mean having to take drastic step like banning the team & reporting to the authority for further action.
Your understudying is much appreciated.
Regards,
Koh 景
Conclusion:
ISCOS will be deducted 2 points from Final Results
