Cruising to an easy win

Maestro FC 5: 2 Coast West United (Augustine x1, Hakim x1, Chris x1, Joel x1)
Match Review by Hakim
It was a nice weather to start with, a bit of drizzling here and there. Maestro had sufficient players to face the young and innocent Coast West United. They are a team not to be underestimated as they defeated Vipers FC before this match.
Maestro started with Brian (GK), Norris, Alan, Chris, Jonathan, Gerald, Eric, Kartik, August, Abhi and Howard. Maestro started bright which led to the first goal. A through ball from the center-mid found Eric, who crossed the ball to August for a simple tap in. Maestro was getting comfortable which led to the team conceding 2 goals. Soon after, changes were made half-way through the first half. Hakim, Joel and Thomas were brought in. Maestro second goal came after a through ball from Gerald found Hakim which caught the Coast West’s defence off guard. Hakim was clean through and scored. Just before the half-time, Maestro had a corner which was crossed in by Hakim and found Chris with a simple volley. Referee whistled for the end of the first half minutes later.
There were not many changes to the second half starting line-up. It was the same one except for the change in keeper (Calvin for Brian) and left-mid (lil Eric for Abhi). It was a pretty relax second half for Maestro with not much threat from the opponents. 1st goal for the second half came from Maestro, which started from the center. Thomas gave a through ball to Joel which he chased and dribbled down the ball before crossing it. The cross deflected off Coast West’s defender which found the back of the net. The last and final goal was a penalty. The penalty was conceded when Jonathan was tripped inside the penalty box which he was clear to score. Joel took the spot and coolly put it at the right bottom of the net. Soon after, the final whistle was blown.
