Another day of soccer at Katong for the Meastro FC Warriors. Today is an exceptional scortching hot day with 2 games to play. Without any fear for the heat wave that is hitting on us, the game whistle blew. The game started with everyone playing at a slow pace as there is another match ahead of us. Passes were good and everyone was playing their position with pace. Through passes were seen with the strikers taking advantage of it. Jeffery took advantage of the chance and gave a beautiful pass through the defenders and into the feat of RongAn which blasted it into the back of the net. The rest of game one went well as it ended with the score of 1-1. Not satisfied with the score, our captain and vice captain demanded us a 5-0 score line in the second match.
15 mins just after kick off, we were all into attacking formation. Everyone was playing like Arsenal where passes can be seen cutting through the opponents defence with ease. The opponents were startled and had no chances to get a grip on the ball. Than came a fantastic pass by Alex to Jeffery and a one two back to Alex to bulls eye into the net of the opponent. The keeper have no chance to even blink his eye. A few more minutes into the game won us a corner kick. With Howard fresh from his home, a fantastic corner kick was taken. Thought the opponents were all over our players, Chris took the back pole and place an accurate header through the keepers defence. Final Whistle blew with our match ending 2-1. Everyone was shagged and tanned but it was a satisfying game for everyone.
